Vulkan Vegas does not exclude Iceland: clause 4.4 of its terms lists the countries it refuses, and Iceland is not on it. The casino is owned and run by Whitebox B.V. in Curaçao under licence OGL/2024/822/0338, and it has no Icelandic licence. One warning before anything else: vulkanvegas.com itself showed a parked-domain page on 9 October 2026, and the name is used by many copycat sites, so knowing which operator you are dealing with matters. We are not a Vulkan Vegas partner, so there are no links to it here.

Vulkan Vegas draws about 320 Google searches a month in Iceland. This page covers what its own terms say about Vulkan Vegas in Iceland, how the licence looks in the Curaçao register, payments and withdrawal times, and the casinos we list instead.

Can you sign up at Vulkan Vegas from Iceland?

Clause 4.4 of the terms says the company does not permit accounts or deposits from customers located or domiciled in a long list of countries, among them Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Malta, the Netherlands, Spain, the United States, Turkey, Ukraine and Japan. Iceland, Norway, Denmark and Finland are not on it. The list “may be changed by the Company from time to time with or without notice”, so check it on the day you register.

Clause 4.2 adds that internet gambling may not be legal in some places and that you alone must work out whether it is legal where you live. Clause 12.7 bans hiding your location with a VPN or proxy and lets the casino void winnings if you do. For what Icelandic law says, see whether online gambling is legal in Iceland: no online casino is licensed here, players have not been prosecuted, and promoting unlicensed gambling is restricted.

Through an Icelandic connection, the brand’s own sign-up link led to a working Vulkan Vegas mirror whose registration form showed EUR as the currency. We found no Icelandic-language version.

Who runs Vulkan Vegas, and what about Brivio?

The terms on the live mirror say: “V.Vegas is owned and operated by Whitebox B.V.” and that Whitebox B.V. is licensed under OGL/2024/822/0338, with payments managed by T&C Whitebox CY Limited in Cyprus. Many review sites still name Brivio Limited, a Cyprus company, from an earlier set-up under the old Curaçao master-licence system. The current terms do not mention Brivio.

The CGA’s online-gaming register of 2 October 2026 lists Whitebox B.V. (registration 155412) under OGL/2024/822/0338 as a B2C licence, issued 14 October 2025, expiring 14 April 2026, with the status “Assessment in progress”. Read plainly, the licence term has run out and the CGA is assessing renewal; the register itself says it does not guarantee current validity. Note too that some sites quote OGL/2024/688/0234 for Vulkan Vegas: in the same register that number belongs to River Entertainment B.V., not Whitebox.

Complaints follow the Curaçao route: to the casino first, then an alternative dispute resolution body certified by the CGA, which does not settle individual cases itself.

Deposits, withdrawals and ID checks

  • Approval times after KYC: up to €499 within 2 working days (8.13); €500 to €4,999 within 5 working days (8.14); €5,000 to €29,999 within 30 working days (8.15); €30,000 or more on individual terms (8.16).
  • Big-win cap: if your withdrawals and balance reach 20 times your total deposits, you may be limited to €5,000 per 30 days (8.17).
  • Low turnover: if you bet less than half of a deposit before withdrawing, 20% can be withheld to cover payment costs (8.11.6).
  • ID: proof of identity can be requested at any time, and edited or digitally altered documents are expressly banned.
  • Currency cost: on a euro account, €100 is about 13,700 kr. at 137.0 kr. per euro (Seðlabanki, 8 Oct 2026), and Landsbankinn adds a 2.30% premium on foreign-currency card payments.

Bonus rules at Vulkan Vegas

The sign-up form we saw advertised a welcome package of €1,500 plus 150 free spins. We do not quote its detailed terms here, but the general bonus rules are worth knowing: bonuses not wagered within 5 days are voided unless an offer says otherwise; the maximum bet while wagering casino bonus money is €5 per spin; casino bonuses cannot be wagered in live casino, table or instant games; and withdrawing your deposit before wagering is complete forfeits the bonus.

Safer gambling tools

Vulkan Vegas’s responsible-gambling page points to personal limits and self-exclusion and lists GamCare, Gamblers Anonymous and Gambling Therapy. It gives no Icelandic contacts, so use the services below. Self-exclusion there covers that casino only; Iceland has no national register.

Vulkan Vegas in the Icelandic news

A search of fjölmiðlanefnd’s website on 9 October 2026 found no decision or opinion naming Vulkan Vegas.

Tax on Vulkan Vegas winnings

Clause 4.5 of the terms makes you responsible for reporting taxable winnings. In Iceland, winnings from a commercial foreign casino are taxable income under lög 90/2003, 7. gr. A-liður 4. tölul.; the exemption covers Iceland’s licensed operators and lotteries licensed in Iceland or elsewhere in the EEA, EFTA or the Faroes that give all their profit to good causes.

Vulkan Vegas compared with the casinos we list

Point Vulkan Vegas Casinos we list
Licence Curaçao; renewal “Assessment in progress” Anjouan (Comoros); none licensed in Iceland
Currency EUR (ISK not seen) Euro accounts only
Welcome offer €1,500 + 150 free spins advertised Multi-deposit packages with 7x to 25x wagering, no free spins
Withdrawals Tiered approval up to 30 working days; €5,000 per 30 days possible after big wins Minimum €100, at most €1,000 a day and €10,000 a month

Neither side is licensed in Iceland or offers krónur. Vulkan Vegas is the bigger name with free spins in its package, but the parked main domain and the crowd of fake sites make it easy to land on the wrong one. Our listed casinos publish lower wagering, from 7x at Trixino, but cap withdrawals at €1,000 a day.

How we checked this page

On 9 October 2026 we found that vulkanvegas.com showed a parking page, followed the brand’s own sign-up link through an Icelandic connection to a live Vulkan Vegas mirror, and read its terms and conditions (last updated 15 July 2024; clauses 4.2, 4.4, 4.5, 8.11 to 8.17 and 12.7), bonus terms and responsible-gambling page. We matched the operator and licence number against the CGA online-gaming register PDF of 2 October 2026 and searched fjölmiðlanefnd’s website for the brand. Gunnar Sigurðsson wrote the page and Helga Björnsdóttir checked the legal and tax points. Iceland Casino has no commercial relationship with Vulkan Vegas.

Frequently asked questions

Does Vulkan Vegas accept players from Iceland?

Yes, on its own terms. Clause 4.4 of Vulkan Vegas’s terms and conditions (marked last updated 15 July 2024, read 9 October 2026) lists the countries it refuses, and Iceland is not among them. The casino also loaded normally through an Icelandic connection.

Which company operates Vulkan Vegas?

Its current terms say Whitebox B.V. (Curaçao, registration 155412) owns and operates it under Curaçao licence OGL/2024/822/0338, with payments handled by T&C Whitebox CY Limited in Cyprus. Older review sites still name Brivio Limited, but the current terms do not.

Is the Vulkan Vegas licence valid?

The Curaçao Gaming Authority register of 2 October 2026 lists Whitebox B.V. under OGL/2024/822/0338 with a period of 14 October 2025 to 14 April 2026 and the status “Assessment in progress”, meaning the renewal was still being assessed. Iceland has no licence for online casinos, so Vulkan Vegas is not licensed here.

Why does vulkanvegas.com not work?

On 9 October 2026 vulkanvegas.com showed a domain-parking page. The casino runs on changing mirror domains, and many look-alike sites use the name, so check that the terms you read name Whitebox B.V. and the licence number above.

How fast are Vulkan Vegas withdrawals?

After ID checks, its terms promise approval within 2 working days for up to €499, 5 working days for €500 to €4,999 and 30 working days for €5,000 to €29,999. Bigger amounts are handled individually.

Are Vulkan Vegas winnings taxed in Iceland?

Yes. Casino winnings from a commercial foreign operator are taxable income under lög 90/2003, 7. gr. A-liður 4. tölul. Vulkan Vegas’s own terms (4.5) also make you responsible for reporting them.

Casino reviews, bonuses and games

Gunnar writes Iceland Casino's English casino reviews and bonus guides, and the pages on games such as slots and live casino. He starts every review with the casino's own terms rather than its promotion banner, and works out what a bonus costs to clear in euros and krónur before he calls it good value. He records the date he saw each offer, flags withdrawal caps and maximum-bet rules, and points out what a casino does not offer Icelandic players, such as ISK accounts. Every page he writes is checked by a second editor.
