Smash Casino pairs a 600% slots package worth up to €10,000 with 10x wagering on every step, and that is the offer we saw for Iceland’s group of countries on 8 October 2026. It also has the widest choice of welcome deals on our list: separate slots, live-casino and sports packages plus a weekly slots package. The downsides are an operator that the site never names, a ban on that operator in Sweden and the usual euro-only, English-only setup. Score: 3.3 out of 5.

Smash Casino is run by Softon Ltd of Cyprus under Anjouan licence ALSI-202409012-FI1, according to the Anjouan register. There is no Icelandic licence for online casinos, so Smash has none. Icelandic players are not prosecuted for using foreign sites; winnings are still taxable income. 18+ only.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Offer confirmed for Iceland’s zone: the zone-5 page showed the same 600% package as EU countries.
  • 10x wagering on all five slots deposits, the second-lightest requirement on our list after Trixino.
  • Four welcome-type packages, including a sports package with 5x wagering.
  • Card, wallet and crypto deposits in one cashier.

Cons

  • Neither the terms nor the footer name the company or the licence; we had to match both through the Anjouan register.
  • Sweden’s regulator banned Softon Ltd on 9 July 2026 and listed Smash among its sites.
  • Full package needs more deposits (about €10,583) than it pays in bonus (€10,000).
  • No krónur, no Icelandic interface, and a €10,000 monthly withdrawal cap.
  • No minimum deposit, bet limit or expiry on the promotions page or in the general terms.

Smash and Icelandic players

Smash runs on a platform whose pages carry the operator’s full country table. Iceland’s row is marked active, sits in zone 5 (the group for non-EU European countries such as Norway and Switzerland), uses dial code +354 and has no currency or language attached, which leaves the euro and English as defaults. The site advertises Australian and Canadian dollars and Polish złoty for other markets, but none is assigned to Iceland. Clause 3.1.2 of the terms (2 July 2026) does not restrict Iceland either.

When we loaded the zone-5 promotions page, the phone field was pre-filled with the visitor’s country code, which shows the site detects location and adapts the sign-up form. Expect to give an Icelandic mobile number at registration. Documents can be requested before the first withdrawal (clause 6.1), and money that was deposited but never wagered may be refused for payout (clause 6.5).

The slots welcome package in krónur

We read this offer on 8 October 2026 from a zone-5 connection, the same zone as Iceland; a connection inside Iceland was stopped by the site’s bot protection. Offers can still change and vary by country.

Deposit Match Bonus cap Deposit for the cap Cap in kr. Wagering
1 200% €500 €250 68,500 kr. 10x
2 100% €2,000 €2,000 274,000 kr. 10x
3 50% €1,500 €3,000 205,500 kr. 10x
4 150% €2,000 about €1,333 274,000 kr. 10x
5 100% €4,000 €4,000 548,000 kr. 10x

Adding it up, the full €10,000 bonus requires about €10,583 in deposits, roughly 1.45m kr. at the central bank’s mid rate of 137.0 kr. per euro (8 October 2026). The third step, a 50% match, is poor value; skipping it costs you €1,500 of bonus but saves €3,000 of deposits.

What a 10x requirement costs you

Start with the first deposit: €250 in (34,250 kr.), €500 bonus. If the 10x counts the bonus only, you bet €5,000 (685,000 kr.) before withdrawing bonus winnings. Counted on deposit plus bonus, it means €7,500 (1,027,500 kr.). The page labels it only “Wager: 10x”, so confirm the basis in live chat. Winnings from a deposit bonus are capped at 25 times the bonus under clause 7.10, and only one bonus can be active at a time. The package contains no free spins, and Smash offers no no-deposit bonus; our no-deposit bonus page explains the alternatives.

Live, sports and weekly packages

Instead of the slots route you can take a live-casino package of 300% up to €2,250 (308,250 kr.) with 25x wagering, or a sports package of 250% up to €5,000 (685,000 kr.) with 5x wagering and minimum odds of 1.80. After the welcome phase, a weekly slots package of 400% up to €6,500 (890,500 kr.) runs at 20x. Choose one welcome route before your first deposit. Table players should note that the live package’s 25x is two and a half times the slots package’s requirement; our live casino guide covers what that means in practice.

Paying in from Iceland

The cashier offers Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Google Pay, Revolut, Giropay, Sofort and crypto. Giropay and Sofort serve German-speaking markets and will not help Icelanders. Aur, Netgíró and Pei are absent, as is any króna transfer. Each card deposit is converted from ISK to EUR by your issuer; Landsbankinn charges a 2.30% premium on the Visa wholesale rate for that (price list of 23 April 2026). On a €500 deposit, 68,500 kr. at mid rate, the premium is about 1,580 kr. We have not verified the other banks’ charges.

A euro balance in Revolut avoids the conversion step, and crypto is another euro-free route covered on our crypto casinos page. If you pay by credit card, ask your bank whether it books gambling transactions as cash advances. The euro casino guide compares the options.

Withdrawal limits

Smash uses the same caps as the other brands on this platform (clause 6.13): minimum €100 (13,700 kr.), maximum €1,000 (137,000 kr.) per day and €10,000 (1,370,000 kr.) per month. A €40,000 win would take four months to collect in full. Payout times are not in the terms, and we did not test a withdrawal.

Softon Ltd, the licence and the Swedish ban

The Anjouan register lists Softon Ltd (Cyprus, HE 463977, Kaimakli, Nicosia) as holder of licence ALSI-202409012-FI1, issued on 7 September 2024 and valid until 6 September 2027. Smash’s own pages do not say any of this: the terms only state that “the Company is licensed”. The site also moves between numbered mirror domains, smash8.casino in October 2026.

On 9 July 2026 Sweden’s regulator, Spelinspektionen, banned Softon Ltd with immediate effect from offering games to Swedish residents (case 26Si1361), naming Smash with nine sister brands. Australia’s media regulator has also issued a formal warning to Softon over two other brands. Neither decision applies in Iceland, which has no gambling regulator or blocklist, and Smash’s Iceland settings are unaffected. We count it as a trust signal, though, and it is why the Softon brands rank below the Exceptiosoft ones on our list. Casino Guru rated Smash at 3.9 with nine complaints when we checked in October 2026.

Games

Slots come from studios such as Play’n GO, Hacksaw, Relax Gaming, ELK, Quickspin, Habanero, Playtech, Microgaming, Novomatic and Playson, with Spribe for crash games. A live casino and full sportsbook share the same wallet. The operator publishes no total game count. Our slots guide explains how to compare games beyond the lobby thumbnails.

Icelandic law and your winnings

Icelandic law (lög um happdrætti nr. 38/2005) allows money games only under special acts, held by six domestic bodies, and none of them offers online casino games. Offshore sites are therefore unlicensed here, but players have not been prosecuted. Winnings from a commercial foreign casino count as taxable income, while prizes from the domestic lotteries are exempt. See our guide to the law in Iceland.

Is Smash Casino worth it?

For a slots player in Iceland, Smash offers one of the best combinations on our list: an offer confirmed for Iceland’s zone, 10x wagering and a weekly package after the welcome phase. Sports bettors get a 5x package too. What you give up is transparency, since the site will not name its operator, and a Swedish ban that, while irrelevant to Icelandic residents legally, says something about how the group operates. Play with money you can afford to lose and withdraw regularly. Compare it with Kingdom Casino, its closest sister, in our reviews hub, or start from our online casino guide for Iceland.

How we checked this page

We fetched Smash Casino’s promotions page from a zone-5 connection and read its general terms (version dated 2 July 2026) on 8 October 2026, and extracted the Iceland row from the operator’s country table. We matched the brand to Softon Ltd and licence ALSI-202409012-FI1 on the Anjouan register, read Spelinspektionen’s decision 26Si1361, and noted the Casino Guru Safety Index in October 2026. Krónur amounts use the Central Bank of Iceland mid rate of 137.0 kr. per euro (8 October 2026); card costs come from Landsbankinn’s 23 April 2026 price list. Helga Björnsdóttir checked the legal and tax text. No real-money transactions were made.

Casino reviews, bonuses and games

Gunnar writes Iceland Casino's English casino reviews and bonus guides, and the pages on games such as slots and live casino. He starts every review with the casino's own terms rather than its promotion banner, and works out what a bonus costs to clear in euros and krónur before he calls it good value. He records the date he saw each offer, flags withdrawal caps and maximum-bet rules, and points out what a casino does not offer Icelandic players, such as ISK accounts. Every page he writes is checked by a second editor.
