Boomerang Bet is a sportsbook and online casino that, according to its own terms, does not bar players from Iceland: Iceland is missing from its list of excluded countries, and the site opened normally from an Icelandic connection on 8 October 2026. What its terms and footer did not show us is who runs it or which licence it holds. Accounts are in euros, the site has no Icelandic language, and the sports welcome bonus is 100% up to €100 with a 6x rollover.

Boomerang Bet is not a partner of Iceland Casino, so this page carries no link to it. We set out what the operator publishes about itself, what we could not confirm, and the partner sites we list instead. As with every foreign site, Boomerang Bet has no Icelandic licence, and winnings from it are taxable income in Iceland. Strictly 18+.

Krónur figures use the Central Bank of Iceland mid rate of 137.0 kr. per euro on 8 October 2026.

Can you open a Boomerang Bet account from Iceland?

On paper, yes. Clause 2.3 of Boomerang Bet’s general terms lists the countries whose residents may not open an account or deposit. The list includes the United Kingdom, the United States, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, Malta, Cyprus, Estonia and Lithuania, among others. Iceland is not on it. When we loaded the site through an Icelandic connection on 8 October 2026, there was no geo-block and the sports, casino and promotions pages all opened.

Three limits apply all the same:

  • No krónur. The withdrawal-limit table in clause 6.11 covers 26 currencies, from EUR, USD and NOK to CHF, PLN and CZK. ISK is not among them, so an Icelandic account would run in euros and every deposit is converted by your bank.
  • No Icelandic. The language menu offers 21 languages, among them English, Norwegian, Finnish and Polish, but not Icelandic. The English version of the terms is the binding one (clause 1.5).
  • Your own legal risk. Clause 2.2 puts the burden on you: Boomerang Bet gives “no assurances” that using the site is lawful where you live, and tells you to check your own country’s laws before you open an account.

Clause 3.2 allows only one account per person, household, address, phone number, email and IP address. Two people in the same Icelandic household cannot each hold an account without risking closure and voided winnings.

Who runs Boomerang Bet, and which licence does it hold?

This is the weakest part of the picture. Clause 1.4 of the terms refers only to “the company operating the Website” without naming it, and the footer served to us from Iceland showed an 18+ badge and social media icons but no licence seal, no licence number and no company name. Most licensed casinos print both in the footer; Boomerang’s page code contains a script for a licence seal, but no seal was displayed on our Icelandic visit.

Several review sites attribute Boomerang Bet to a company called NovaForge Ltd with an Anjouan (Comoros) licence. We could not confirm that on the Anjouan Gaming licence register on 8 October 2026, and some reviewers report the same gap. Until the operator names itself and its licence on its own site, treat the licence status as unconfirmed. This matters in practice: if a dispute arises, you need to know which company you contracted with and which authority you can turn to. The terms do offer a complaints email (clause 13), but no external dispute body that we could identify.

For comparison, our partner brands name their licences: Trixino’s page settings name Exceptiosoft LTD and Anjouan licence ALSI-202606020-FI1, and the Softon Ltd brands carry Anjouan licence ALSI-202409012-FI1 on the Anjouan register. You can read how we check this in our guide to the best online casinos for Iceland.

The Boomerang Bet sportsbook

Sport is Boomerang Bet’s lead product. The sportsbook menu covers football, tennis, table tennis, basketball, ice hockey, American football and baseball, with a separate live betting section and virtual sports. Its rules set a minimum bet of 0.5 in the account currency (clause 16.9.2) and cap total winnings at €100,000 per customer per day of betting (clause 16.9.4). Maximum stakes vary by sport and market.

Sports promotions listed on 8 October 2026:

  • First Deposit Bonus: 100% up to €100
  • Weekly Reload Bonus: 50% up to €500
  • Cashback Bonus: 10% up to €500
  • Accumulator Boost, Early Payout (a “2 goals ahead” style payout) and Bore Draw stake-back promotions

We could not see whether Besta deildin or Icelandic handball are priced, because the sportsbook loads its fixtures after sign-in checks. If Icelandic football is what you bet on, check the fixture list before you deposit anywhere. Our online casino hub for Iceland links to every guide on this site.

Sports welcome bonus: the terms in full

The First Deposit Bonus is 100% of the first deposit up to €100 (about 13,700 kr.). The steps and rules, as published on 8 October 2026:

  1. Deposit at least €20 (about 2,740 kr.). Deposits through Skrill or Neteller do not qualify.
  2. Bet the full deposit at least once at odds of 1.50 or more. The bonus is credited only after this first rollover is settled.
  3. Then wager deposit plus bonus six times (five times for players from Germany, Norway, Finland, Switzerland and Austria) on settled single bets at odds of 2.00 or more, or on multi-bets with every selection at 1.50 or more.
  4. Only €50 of any single bet counts towards the rollover, and only the first settled bet on each event counts.
  5. Cashed-out bets, system bets, void bets and bets in the casino or virtual sections do not count. Everything must be done within 30 days of the first deposit.

A worked example: deposit €100 and the bonus is €100. After the first €100 qualifying rollover, you need €1,200 of turnover (6 x €200) at odds of 2.00 or more, at a maximum of €50 counted per bet. At a 5% bookmaker margin, that turnover costs about €60 on average, so most of the bonus value goes on clearing it, and a long losing run at odds of 2.00 can end it sooner.

Compare the partner sportsbooks in our casino bonus guide: their sports packages carry 5x wagering at minimum odds of 1.80, but they cap stakes at €2 while a bonus is active, which makes clearing them slower in a different way.

Boomerang Bet casino and its welcome bonus

The casino lobby has slots, jackpots, bonus-buy games, Megaways, table games and a live casino with roulette, blackjack, baccarat, game shows and poker. The game studios named on the home page include Evolution, Play’n GO, Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Microgaming, Yggdrasil, Quickspin, ELK and Wazdan.

The casino welcome bonus on 8 October 2026 was 100% up to €500 (about 68,500 kr.) plus 200 free spins, from a €20 minimum deposit:

  • Deposit plus bonus must be wagered 35 times, and free-spin winnings 40 times.
  • Each bonus must be cleared within 10 days.
  • The 200 spins arrive as 20 a day for 10 days, and each batch expires 24 hours after it becomes available.
  • The maximum bet with an active casino bonus is €100.
  • Skrill and Neteller deposits do not qualify.

On a €100 deposit, 35x deposit plus bonus is €7,000 of slot play (about 959,000 kr.), a heavy requirement. Other casino offers listed were a Weekend Reload of up to €700 plus 50 free spins, a weekly 50 free spins, 25% live cashback up to €200 and 15% daily cashback up to €400. Our free spins guide explains why our partner brands do not include spins in their welcome packages, and the no-deposit bonus guide covers what to watch for in no-deposit offers.

Deposits and withdrawals

Boomerang Bet’s public payments page listed no methods when we opened it from Iceland on 8 October 2026 (“No payments found”), so we cannot confirm which cards or wallets work for Icelandic accounts. The terms do spell out the withdrawal rules:

  • Limits by VIP level (clause 6.11): at level 1, €500 per transaction, €500 a day and €7,000 a month; at level 5, €1,700 per transaction, €5,000 a day and €75,000 a month. Your level depends on your activity over the previous 90 days.
  • Deposits must be wagered once (clause 6.8). If you withdraw before betting your deposit at least once, Boomerang may cancel winnings and keep a 10% fee, or 15% if you deposited by card or bank transfer.
  • A monthly wagering threshold. The terms let Boomerang refuse a withdrawal if you have not wagered at least €20 in the calendar month of the request.
  • At most three pending withdrawals at a time (clause 6.13), and identity checks (ID, proof of address and payment method) before payouts.

For an Icelander, the euro account adds a conversion cost on every card deposit: Landsbankinn charges a 2.30% premium on foreign-currency card payments (price list 23 April 2026). Our euro casinos guide shows what that costs in krónur.

Boomerang Bet and Icelandic law

Iceland has no licence for online casinos or private betting sites. Under article 2 of the Lotteries Act no. 38/2005, gambling for money is allowed only under a special act, and the only domestic sportsbook is Lengjan, run by Íslenskar getraunir. Boomerang Bet therefore has no Icelandic licence, and an Anjouan or any other foreign licence does not change that.

Players are not prosecuted for using foreign sites: no provision makes betting itself a crime, and police opened no investigation into any of the 14 gambling matters reported in five years (RÚV, 21 October 2025). Winnings from a foreign commercial site such as Boomerang Bet are taxable income under the Income Tax Act. Our page on whether online gambling is legal in Iceland sets out the law in detail.

Alternatives to Boomerang Bet

If you were searching for Boomerang Bet because you want a site that combines sports betting and casino, the eight partner brands below all run both, name their licence, and allow up to €1,000 a day in withdrawals. Trixino, Smash, Wino and Aphrodite have separate sports welcome packages; the slots offers are shown here. None of them has an Icelandic licence, all run euro accounts, and none offers a no-deposit bonus.

How we checked this page

On 8 October 2026 we loaded Boomerang Bet’s site through an Icelandic connection and read its general terms (version 1.12, last updated 19 August 2026: clauses 1.4, 1.5, 2.2, 2.3, 3.2, 6.8, 6.11, 6.13, 13 and 16.9), its About Us and payments pages, the sports and casino promotions pages, and the full bonus terms of the sports First Deposit Bonus and the casino Welcome Bonus. We searched the Anjouan Gaming licence register for the brand and for the company named by third-party reviews. Law references were checked against the consolidated Alþingi texts (version 158a, 1 October 2026), the exchange rate is the Central Bank’s mid rate for 8 October 2026, and helpline numbers were checked on each organisation’s own website. Partner facts come from the partner brands’ own promotions pages and terms read the same day. Written by Gunnar Sigurðsson, fact-checked by Helga Björnsdóttir.

Frequently asked questions

Can I sign up at Boomerang Bet from Iceland?

Iceland is not on the list of Excluded Jurisdictions in clause 2.3 of Boomerang Bet’s general terms (version 1.12, last updated 19 August 2026), and the site loaded normally from an Icelandic connection on 8 October 2026. The account would run in euros, because ISK is not among its currencies, and the site has no Icelandic language.

Is Boomerang Bet licensed?

Not in Iceland: Iceland issues no licence to any private betting or casino site. Boomerang Bet’s own terms and footer, as served to us from Iceland on 8 October 2026, named no operating company and no licence number. Third-party reviews link the brand to an Anjouan licence, but we could not confirm that on the Anjouan register.

What is the Boomerang Bet sports welcome bonus?

On 8 October 2026 it was 100% of the first deposit up to €100 (about 13,700 kr.), minimum deposit €20. The deposit must first be wagered once at odds of 1.50 or more, and then deposit plus bonus must be wagered six times on singles at 2.00 or more or multi-bets at 1.50 or more per selection, within 30 days.

Does Boomerang Bet accept Icelandic krónur?

No. Its withdrawal table lists 26 currencies, including EUR, NOK and CHF, but not ISK. Icelandic players would hold a euro account, and their card issuer would convert each deposit, often with a fee such as Landsbankinn’s 2.30% premium.

Boomerang Bet is not one of our partner brands, and we only list partners we have checked. This page sets out the facts Boomerang publishes about itself so you can compare it with the alternatives in our list.

Are Boomerang Bet winnings taxable in Iceland?

Yes. Winnings from foreign commercial betting and casino sites count as taxable income under article 7 A 4 of the Income Tax Act 90/2003. Only winnings from the licensed Icelandic operators, such as Lengjan and Lottó, are exempt.
