Aphrodite Casino’s headline is a 700% slots package worth up to €7,000 over five deposits, but with 25x wagering on each step it is a bonus for patient, high-volume players, not for a quick session. For Icelanders the brand works the same way as its sisters: Iceland is active in its country settings, the wallet is in euros, the interface in English and cash-outs are capped at €1,000 a day. Its live-casino package is the more interesting extra. Score: 3.0 out of 5.
The Anjouan register links Aphrodite to Softon Ltd of Cyprus and licence ALSI-202409012-FI1. Online casinos cannot be licensed in Iceland, so Aphrodite has no Icelandic licence. Players are not prosecuted for gambling on foreign sites, but winnings are taxable income. 18+ only.

Strong points and weak points
Strong points
- The biggest match percentage on our list (700% in total) and a cheap first step: €250 earns €500.
- A dedicated live-casino package of 300% up to €2,250 for table players.
- A broad lobby with 53 slot and 12 live-casino providers.
- Iceland is active in the operator’s settings, and card, wallet and crypto deposits are all possible.
Weak points
- 25x wagering on every slots step, two and a half times Smash or Kingdom on the same platform.
- Aphrodite was the main evidence site in Sweden’s July 2026 ban on Softon Ltd.
- No operator or licence number on the site.
- The offer was read from an EU-zone connection; Iceland’s zone could not be loaded.
- Euro-only wallet, English-only interface, €10,000 monthly cash-out cap.
Signing up as an Icelandic resident
The operator’s country table, embedded in Aphrodite’s pages, marks Iceland as active in zone 5 with dial code +354 and assigns no currency or language. As a result, the site defaults to euros and English. Aphrodite offers Australian and Canadian dollars to other markets, but they are not available for Iceland. Clause 3.1.2 of the terms dated 2 July 2026 restricts twelve jurisdictions, among them the UK, Germany and Sweden; Iceland is not one of them. The signup page’s phone dropdown includes “Iceland (+354)”.
Clause 6.1 allows identity checks before the first withdrawal, and clause 6.5 allows the casino to refuse a payout if a deposit has not been wagered at least once. A passport or driving licence plus a recent document showing your address are the usual requirements; confirm with support which they accept.
Inside the 700% package
Our Icelandic connection was blocked by bot protection on 8 October 2026, and several attempts to load the page from Iceland’s zone failed. The table therefore shows the offer served the same day to a visitor in the EU zone. On the sister sites we could load from Iceland’s zone, the offers matched the EU ones, but for Aphrodite this is unconfirmed and the offer can vary by country.
| Step | Match | Cap | Deposit needed | Cap in krónur |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 200% | €500 | €250 | 68,500 kr. |
| 2 | 100% | €1,500 | €1,500 | 205,500 kr. |
| 3 | 100% | €2,000 | €2,000 | 274,000 kr. |
| 4 | 150% | €1,000 | about €667 | 137,000 kr. |
| 5 | 150% | €2,000 | about €1,333 | 274,000 kr. |
The full €7,000 needs about €5,750 in deposits, around 787,750 kr. at the central bank’s mid rate of 137.0 kr. per euro on 8 October 2026.
The 25x maths
Step one looks friendly: deposit €250 (34,250 kr.), receive €500. At 25x on the bonus, though, that €500 needs €12,500 of bets (about 1.71m kr.) before it can be withdrawn. Count the deposit too and it is €18,750 (about 2.57m kr.). By step five, a €2,000 bonus at 25x means €50,000 of wagering, some 6.85m kr. The promotions page shows “25x” with no basis, so ask support before accepting. Our bonus guide explains when declining a bonus is the better move.
Unless an offer states otherwise, winnings from a deposit bonus are capped at 25 times the bonus (clause 7.10 of the general terms), and only one bonus can run at a time. No free spins come with the package and there is no no-deposit bonus.
The live-casino package
Aphrodite’s alternative welcome offer is a 300% live-casino match up to €2,250 (308,250 kr.), unlocked by a €750 deposit (102,750 kr.). It carries 25x wagering too, which on €2,250 means €56,250 of live bets if counted on the bonus alone. Live games are often weighted below slots for wagering, so the real requirement may be higher still. Read our live casino guide before you take it. A small sports package (100% up to €500, 5x, minimum odds 1.80) completes the set.
Deposits in euros from Iceland
The cashier lists Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Google Pay, Revolut, Giropay, Sofort and crypto. Nothing Icelandic is offered (no Aur, Netgíró, Pei or króna transfer). Each card payment from an ISK account is converted, and Landsbankinn, for one, adds a 2.30% premium over the Visa wholesale rate on foreign-currency card transactions (price list of 23 April 2026). A €750 deposit at mid rate is 102,750 kr., plus roughly 2,360 kr. in premium. Fees at Arion banki and Íslandsbanki were not checked.
Euro balances in Revolut skip the conversion at the point of payment, and crypto is covered on our crypto casinos page. If you use a credit card, ask whether your issuer treats gambling transactions as cash advances. The euro casino guide lays out the costs.
Withdrawal caps
Under clause 6.13 every withdrawal must be at least €100 (13,700 kr.), and the totals are capped at €1,000 (137,000 kr.) a day and €10,000 (1,370,000 kr.) a month. Clearing step five of the package and winning €15,000 would mean two months of withdrawals. Payout times are not given and we did not test one.
The company and the Swedish decision
Softon Ltd (HE 463977, Kaimakli, Nicosia, Cyprus) holds Anjouan licence ALSI-202409012-FI1, valid from 7 September 2024 to 6 September 2027 according to the register, and aphrodite.casino is among its listed domains. The site does not name Softon, and its terms say only that “the Company is licensed”. In October 2026 it was reachable at aphrodite27.casino, one of a chain of numbered mirrors.
When Spelinspektionen banned Softon Ltd from the Swedish market on 9 July 2026 (case 26Si1361), Aphrodite was the main site it cited as evidence. Australia’s media regulator has also formally warned Softon over two other brands. Neither decision applies to Iceland, which has no gambling regulator or blocklist. Casino Guru gave Aphrodite a Safety Index of 4.0 with two complaints when we checked in October 2026.
Games
Aphrodite’s lobby lists 53 slot studios, including Play’n GO, Hacksaw, Relax Gaming, ELK, Quickspin, Habanero, Microgaming, Novomatic, Blueprint and Wazdan, plus 12 live-casino providers and a sportsbook. No total game count is published. Our online slots guide covers how to choose between them.
Icelandic law and tax
Money games in Iceland are reserved for six domestic bodies operating under special acts, such as Íslensk getspá and HHÍ, and none offers online casino games. Lög um happdrætti nr. 38/2005 targets running and promoting unlicensed games rather than playing, and no Icelandic player has been prosecuted. Winnings from a commercial foreign casino count as taxable income. Our gambling law guide for Iceland sets out the details.
Verdict on Aphrodite Casino
Aphrodite has the biggest percentages on our list and a real live-casino package, which will appeal to players who deposit large amounts and play many hours. For most Icelandic players, the 25x wagering makes the package hard to clear, and the brand’s central role in the Swedish case against its operator is a mark against it. If you like this platform, Smash Casino offers a similar package at 10x. Compare all eight brands in our reviews hub and read the online casino guide for Iceland before choosing.
How we checked this page
We read Aphrodite’s promotions page from an EU-zone connection and its general terms (version dated 2 July 2026) on 8 October 2026, after repeated attempts to load the page from Iceland’s zone failed. The Iceland row comes from the operator’s country table in the site’s pages. We confirmed the licence on the Anjouan register, read Spelinspektionen’s decision 26Si1361, and recorded Casino Guru’s Safety Index in October 2026. Krónur figures use the Central Bank of Iceland mid rate of 137.0 kr. per euro (8 October 2026); the card fee is from Landsbankinn’s 23 April 2026 price list. Helga Björnsdóttir checked the legal and tax statements. No real-money deposit or withdrawal was made.
