Market: Iceland

Disclosure We may earn a commission if you use our links. It never changes our ratings or the order of a list. Editorial policy

Trixino is the partner casino we put first for players in Iceland, and the reason is simple: every deposit in its slots welcome package carries a 7x wagering label, the lowest of the eight brands we list. Iceland is not on its list of banned countries, so you can open an account here, but it will be a euro account with an English interface, and cash-outs stop at €1,000 a day. Our score is 3.7 out of 5.

The casino is run by Exceptiosoft LTD from Cyprus and licensed in Anjouan (Comoros) under ALSI-202606020-FI1. Iceland issues no online casino licences at all, so neither Trixino nor any other site on our list is licensed here. Players are not prosecuted for using foreign sites, yet winnings from them count as taxable income. Strictly 18+.

Strengths and weak spots

Why Trixino stands out

  • A 7x wagering label on all six slots deposits. Its sister casinos Lucki Casino and Slottio show 25x on theirs.
  • Three separate welcome packages (slots, live casino, sports), so a blackjack or football player is not forced into slot wagering.
  • The operator’s name and licence number are written into the site’s own settings, something the Softon-run brands on our list do not offer at all.
  • Revolut and Google Pay sit next to Visa and Mastercard, which helps Icelanders who already keep euros in a Revolut account.
  • We found no regulator action against Trixino or Exceptiosoft in Sweden, Australia or the Czech Republic when we checked in October 2026.

What holds it back

  • No ISK. Each card deposit is a foreign-currency payment, and your bank adds its own premium on top of the exchange rate.
  • Withdrawals are capped at €1,000 (137,000 kr.) a day and €10,000 (1,370,000 kr.) a month.
  • The promotions page and general terms state no minimum deposit, maximum bet or bonus expiry (some third-party reviews quote a €20 minimum deposit, which we could not confirm on Trixino’s own pages), and the page never says whether 7x applies to the bonus alone.
  • Trixino is young. We found no Casino Guru safety rating and almost no complaint history to judge it by.
  • The footer that names the operator is configured for visitors from a short list of countries. Iceland is not on it, so you may see no licence details on the site itself.

Opening an account from Iceland

Trixino’s general terms, dated 2 July 2026, name the countries whose residents may not register (clause 3.1.2): the USA, the Netherlands, France, the United Kingdom, Australia, Cyprus, Spain, Austria, the Comoros, Germany, Sweden and the Dutch West Indies, plus sanctioned and FATF-listed states. Iceland is absent. Trixino shares its software platform with Slottio and Lucki Casino, and that platform’s country bundle carries an entry for Iceland with dial code +354, no currency of its own and no language. Put plainly, you register with an Icelandic address and mobile number, the wallet opens in euros, and the lobby speaks English.

Identity checks come later rather than at sign-up. Clause 6.1 lets the casino request documents before the first withdrawal, and clause 6.5 allows it to refuse a payout if a deposit has not been wagered at least once. The terms do not list which documents are accepted, so ask the live chat before you deposit. A passport plus a recent bank statement in your name is the safest pair to have scanned and ready, because any mismatch between your account details and your papers will delay the first payout.

The welcome package as we saw it on 8 October 2026

When we checked the promotions page on 8 October 2026, connections from Iceland were stopped by the site’s bot protection. We therefore read the offer from a connection in another European country on the same platform. On two sister platforms the offer for Iceland’s zone matched the EU zone exactly; for Trixino that is likely but not proven, and the offer can vary by country.

Deposit Match Largest bonus Deposit that unlocks it Largest bonus in krónur
1st 200% €500 €250 68,500 kr.
2nd 100% €2,000 €2,000 274,000 kr.
3rd 177% €1,777 about €1,004 about 243,400 kr.
4th 50% €1,500 €3,000 205,500 kr.
5th 150% €1,000 about €667 137,000 kr.
6th 100% €1,000 €1,000 137,000 kr.

To collect all €7,777 you would pay in about €7,921 across six deposits, roughly 1.09m kr. at the central bank’s mid rate of 137.0 kr. per euro on 8 October 2026. The fourth step is the costly one: a 50% match needs €3,000 to earn €1,500.

What 7x means in practice

Take the first deposit. You pay in €250 (34,250 kr.) and receive €500. If the 7x applies to the bonus only, you must place €3,500 in bets (479,500 kr.) before the bonus turns into cash. If it applies to deposit plus bonus, the figure is €5,250 (719,250 kr.). The promotions page shows “7x” and nothing more, so ask support which basis applies before you opt in. Either way, 7x is unusually light; a 25x bonus-only requirement on the same €500 would mean €12,500 of play.

Two further rules come from the general terms. A deposit bonus can turn into at most 25 times its own value in winnings (clause 7.10), so the €500 bonus caps out at €12,500. In real life the €1,000 daily withdrawal limit bites much sooner. Only one bonus can be active at a time. There are no free spins in any welcome package and no no-deposit bonus, so ignore any site that promises either; our guide to no-deposit offers explains why low-wager deposit bonuses are the realistic alternative.

Live casino and sports packages

Instead of the slots deal you can choose a live-casino welcome package of 300% up to €1,750 (about 239,750 kr.) with 25x wagering, or a sports package of 325% up to €1,500 (205,500 kr.) with 5x wagering. Sports bonuses on this platform need minimum odds of 1.80. Pick one route before your first deposit, since the packages cannot run side by side. Table-game fans should read our live casino guide first: games such as blackjack often count for less than slots towards wagering, and the live package’s 25x is far heavier than the slots package’s 7x.

Paying in with an Icelandic card

The cashier strip shows Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay and Revolut. You will not find Aur, Netgíró, Pei or Kass, and no Icelandic bank transfer option exists. Because the casino only holds euros, a card payment from a króna account is converted by your card issuer. Landsbankinn’s price list (23 April 2026) adds a 2.30% premium on the Visa wholesale rate for every foreign-currency card transaction. On a €100 deposit, 13,700 kr. at the mid rate, that is roughly 315 kr. extra. We have not verified the equivalent fees at Arion banki or Íslandsbanki, so check your own bank’s price list.

Two more Iceland-specific points. Íslandsbanki has reportedly blocked under-18 customers’ cards at betting sites on its own initiative, and some issuers may treat a casino payment on a credit card as a cash advance, with the higher fee that brings; ask your bank before using credit. Revolut is the practical workaround many Icelanders use: if you already hold euros there, the deposit is euro to euro and no conversion happens at that step. Our euro casino guide runs through the currency maths in more detail.

Withdrawals: limits and timing

The withdrawal rules are the same across this operator’s brands (clause 6.13): at least €100 (13,700 kr.) per request, no more than €1,000 (137,000 kr.) a day and no more than €10,000 (1,370,000 kr.) a month. A €25,000 win would therefore reach you over at least three calendar months. The terms give no processing time, and payout methods only appear inside the cashier after registration, so we cannot quote either. Plan for the first withdrawal to wait on the identity check described above.

Who runs Trixino and what the licence covers

Exceptiosoft LTD is registered in Cyprus (HE 487571) with an address in Lakatameia, Nicosia. Its Anjouan licence, ALSI-202606020-FI1, was issued on 12 June 2026 and runs to 11 June 2027, and the register lists trixino.com among the covered domains. In October 2026 the site actually answered on a numbered mirror, trixino3.com, which is common for this group, so reach it through a link you trust rather than a lookalike domain from an advert.

Anjouan is not an EEA licence, and it gives the operator no right to offer games in Iceland. If a dispute cannot be settled with support, the route is the licensing authority’s third-party complaint procedure, since Iceland has no gambling regulator that handles such complaints. Exceptiosoft today runs several brands that previously sat with Rabocse SRL, which Sweden’s regulator banned in August 2025. Trixino was not among the Rabocse domains named in that decision, and we found no action against Exceptiosoft itself.

Games and betting

Trixino is a casino and sportsbook in one account. Slot studios in the lobby include Play’n GO, Hacksaw, Relax Gaming, ELK, Quickspin, Habanero, Playtech, Microgaming, Novomatic, BGaming and Wazdan, with Spribe for crash games such as Aviator. A live casino section is there too. The operator does not publish a game count, so we do not quote one. Search by studio if you know what you like; our online slots guide covers RTP settings and volatility, which matter more than the size of the catalogue.

Iceland’s rules in brief

Under lög um happdrætti nr. 38/2005, money games may only be run under a special act, and only six domestic bodies hold one, among them Íslensk getspá and Happdrætti Háskóla Íslands. None offers online casino games. No law punishes a player for using a foreign site, and police took no gambling matter to investigation in the five years to October 2025. Winnings from commercial offshore casinos such as Trixino are taxable income under the income tax act, unlike prizes from the domestic licensees. For the full picture, read our guide to gambling law in Iceland.

Verdict

For a player in Iceland who mainly spins slots, Trixino offers the lightest wagering we have found among our partners, a clean regulatory record so far and a licence number the operator does not hide. The trade-offs are the same euro-only, English-only setup as every offshore site, a hard €10,000 monthly cash-out ceiling and bonus terms on its own pages that leave out the minimum deposit, maximum bet and expiry. Deposit what you could afford to lose in krónur, settle the wagering basis with support first, and compare the other seven brands in our casino reviews hub or the online casino overview for Iceland before you decide. If your priority is the biggest headline number rather than light wagering, Wildzy is the closest alternative.

How we checked this page

We read Trixino’s promotions page and its general terms (version dated 2 July 2026) on 8 October 2026, matched the licence number and expiry against the Anjouan register, and checked the operator name against the site’s own configuration. Iceland’s status comes from the terms’ restricted list and the platform’s country settings. Krónur figures use the Central Bank of Iceland mid rate of 137.0 kr. per euro (8 October 2026), and the card fee comes from Landsbankinn’s April 2026 price list. Legal and tax statements were checked against the current Alþingi texts by Helga Björnsdóttir. We did not make a real-money deposit, so processing times and the cashier’s payout methods are not tested.

Trixino questions from Icelandic players

Can I play at Trixino from Iceland?

Iceland is not on the list of barred countries in clause 3.1.2 of Trixino’s terms (dated 2 July 2026), so you can register with an Icelandic address and +354 number. The account is in euros and the site is in English. Trixino has no Icelandic licence; no online casino does.

What is Trixino’s wagering requirement?

The slots welcome package shows a 7x wagering label on each of its six deposits (seen on 8 October 2026). The page does not say whether 7x applies to the bonus alone or to deposit plus bonus, so confirm with support before you accept it. The live package is 25x and the sports package 5x.

How much can I withdraw from Trixino per day?

Up to €1,000 a day (137,000 kr. at 137.0 kr. per euro) and €10,000 a month, with a minimum of €100 per withdrawal, under clause 6.13 of the terms. Identity documents may be requested before the first payout.

Does Trixino accept ISK or Icelandic payment apps?

No. Accounts are euro only and the cashier lists Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay and Revolut. Aur, Netgíró and Pei are not available. Your card issuer converts krónur and may add a fee, for example 2.30% at Landsbankinn.

Is there a Trixino no-deposit bonus or free spins?

No. When we checked on 8 October 2026 there was no no-deposit bonus and no free spins in any welcome package, only deposit match bonuses.

Which company runs Trixino and which licence does it hold?

Trixino is operated by Exceptiosoft LTD of Cyprus (HE 487571) under Anjouan licence ALSI-202606020-FI1, valid until 11 June 2027 according to the Anjouan register.

Gunnar writes Iceland Casino's English casino reviews and bonus guides, and the pages on games such as slots and live casino. He starts every review with the casino's own terms rather than its promotion banner, and works out what a bonus costs to clear in euros and krónur before he calls it good value. He records the date he saw each offer, flags withdrawal caps and maximum-bet rules, and points out what a casino does not offer Icelandic players, such as ISK accounts.
